Easy way to track down a short?

Is there a easy way to track down a short? its in my tail lights. Any ideas can help

Here's a schematic if you don't have one. It's pretty basic but it gives you an idea of what you're looking at:http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBr...3d80140920.jsp

Before you get your meter out I would take a look at the wire bundle that runs near the trunk lid hinge and make sure none of the wires are pinched in the hinge assembly. I've read it's a common problem.
