J-Body Performance, anyone?

Has anybody ordered any internal engine or performance engine parts from jbody performance? I want to build an entire new engine with all their performance parts, are they legit/worth it?

Re: J-Body Performance, anyone?

Your paying more to have them ship it to you from canada. Shop around a little more before deciding on them

www.howellautomotive.com
www.summitracing.com
www.jegs.com

or get in touch with Karo from www.carcustoms.com he can get you just about anything you desire for your car.

Re: J-Body Performance, anyone?

Well, i'm looking for only performance engine parts, like the internal stuff. I can't find that kind of stuff for the 2.2 anywhere else.

Re: J-Body Performance, anyone?

All I have heard on here about J-Body Performance is all good. Looking at their website they seem to know exacly whay they're doing and as far as I know they are the only place that has all the performace parts for our Cavaliers such as push-rods, lifters, rockerarms, valves, valve guides, camshafts, con-rods, crankshafts, bearings, piston rings, you name it.

Would all you others second me on this...?...

Its hard for me to pick parts for you, since i don't know what you plans for you car are. Whether your thinkin boost or N/a will decided alot of what you need. Basic rebuild you'll need Main and rod bearings. Pistons, head gasket, lifters, oil pump, timing chain tensioner and chain if you want. A P n P will help out alot for sure. Also it all depends on how much you are willing to spend and how much you want to do yourself. But the links above should get you started in the direction you need.
