Question wiper circuit

you know that circuit that tells the wipers to park? is it hard to replace and why do you always see camaros with that issue?

Only 2 things can really go wrong iwth it, either the multifunction lever on the steering column, not hard, but expensive sometimes. Or the delay mechanism, which is usually an integral part of the whole wiper motor assembly.

i was told it was the circuit and its 93.00 at the dealership so i know it exists the delays all work it started parking for a couple of days then it stopped again

There is a circuit card for the wiper motor (actually, two depending upon whether it has intermittent wipers) which can be replaced separately. If your's has intermittent wipers, you'd need a 12367295.

It's no fun chore on a FourthGen, even with the plastic cowl removed. You can purchase the circuit through the GM parts chain, or from an aftermarket auto supplier, where they are about half the price. ($52 @ Rockauto.com).

thank you i had tried to find it aftermarket and couldn't i have no idea when i will get around to replacing it if its a pain in the butt to replace
