Exclamation 305 heads

I have a 85 caprice that sucks oil into the air cleaner and the driver side of the engine only has 50lbs compression and bleeds down from there on all 4 cyclinders.I changed head gasket and there was no change. If the head is warped will 350 heads work on this engine? And what do think maybe the cause of this problem? Cylinder walls look good.

It's the piston rings, not the cylinder heads. 350 heads will not work because the chambers are too large - the compression would be too low (something like 7:1). The oil in the air cleaner is indicative of large amounts of piston ring blow-by. The low compression might also have something to do with a burned valve, but methinks it's time for a new engine for you.

When you get it together and run your compression check, squirt some oil into the cylinder (a couple teaspoons) and if you see improvement, you have worn rings.
