Clearcoating decals?

Anyone know if Duplicolor clearcoat will damage decals? They're good quality aftermarket Slixx decals so I'd rather not "test" it...

Testing it is the only way to be sure. Not on the fully decaled up body but on some spare decals and scrap plastic. With care I imagine it should be possible, but without care it could be disastrous.
