Question code 171

hi guys its been about 1 month and i'm still working on my daughters car 95 neon sohc the last time I wrote I had bent valves well I fixed that thanks to you guys she just came home and said the check engine light was on so i went out and put my code reader on it and 171 came up i went to my book and it says engine lean bank 1 of 1 but the haynes book don't say how to fix or what to look for i checked all hoses and there fine what am i missing need help thanks brewster

check the o2 sensor. code 171 is saying that the o2 is reporting lean.

Check fuel filter, fuel rail, and check for pressure at the fuel rail. How is the car running? Be a bit more decscriptive.
