aftermarket headlights hell

Hey guys. I have 2 problems and any suggestions are very welcome. I bought some aftermarket headlights from ebay that wont fit or go on properly on my LTC. The first problem is the gap in the corner side. its like 1 inch. I thought these lights if DOT approves should fit exactly the same as the OEM lamps. I guess not. Second problem is these lamps have like 3 pins that hold the lamp in place. I only was able to get one on. The 2 other just wont fit. My question is there like a certain procedure to follow when installing headlights. It is very basic in my opinion. I kind of think its these aftermarket lamps arent made to lincoln specs. What should i do?? Order OEM lights from a dealer?? Send these back to the guy?? BTW the brand of the lamps are Eagle Eyes. Thanks!!!!!

Re: aftermarket headlights hell

Ok hell no more.. I put on the passenger side in 5 mins. For the other side i took it to a pro. He put it in like in 3 mins. I was like how you do that?? He says these aftermarket lights you have to know how to play with them so they will fit properly..The car lookls real nice now!!
