'93 grand caravan warning chimes?

the chimes go off in my van every time i make a left turn. its probably because the sliding door is a little bit loose but not really enough to be much of a problem. the trouble im having is in finding the chimes to disconnect them cause the van has 260,000+miles and i dont want to spend the money on parts for the door since i dont plan to drive it forever. so if anyone could tell me where the chimes are i would appreciate it thanks.

After you make that turn, does the turn signal turn OFF? If not that's why it chimes. Try trurning off the turn signal yourself after the turn is made and see what it does.

My 92 T&C has this feature too, if the turn signal isn't automaticly turned off after a bit, and its still on it will start to chime to let me know.

oh its not the turn signal i know that for sure cause i hardly ever use it. i just need to locate the chimes so i can rip them out. i would take out the airbag too but im worried it might go off during removal. i really just dont like safety features.

Check the door switch on the sliding door. The switch is a plunger type switch on the body near the rear of the sliding door. I fixed my 95 short term using double sided tape and a quarter or nickel.
