Tranny Flush on 90 Nissan Maxima?
Just wondering if its possible to do-it-yourself, I looked at the tranny and it looks like the tranny pan is on the side of it? Me and my buddy have never seen this, I want to put a new tranny filter in it and new tranny fluid, probably with some lucas because the tranny is strating to act up. I don't want to have to replace the tranny, but if these doesn't work or It can't be flushed I might have too, and then sell it.

Re: Tranny Flush on 90 Nissan Maxima?
trans flushs can be done , but not by the avrage guy at home. If you Vech has over 100k miles it is not recommended .
Most shops have equipment to perform flushs for you , As for the filter. The filter is a non replacable filter , metal screen. Those filters are not recommend to be changed. Good luck

Std dino oil makers warrant their products 20k-30k. EXTREME CRUCIAL to swap if u have 100k tar inside A/T. There is no such thing as flush. Just oil change. How? Do read the link.
