Hello,
I was surfing one site suggested by flyonthewall in which were for sale many models from Studio 27. There were many 1/20 Formula 1 cars made in resin and metal of not only new cars such as BARs and Prosts but also Williams, McLarens, Benettons, Lotus, Ferraris and Tyrrells from the 70’s and 80’s. I was very existed because I’m just 12 models from building all Tamiya F1 models that is possible for me to get and if they continue releasing 1 F1 car per year I’ll soon be out of F1 cars to build. Does anyone try to build one of Studio 27 cars? What did you think of the car? They give all Studio 27 cars the maximum difficulty skill for modellers. THX, Nuno. |

If you have a particular car that you really want to have a model of it, or want to try something different, a Studio 27 kit would be a good start.
It's one of the best resin kit available in the market, and it's free from cleaning pin holes or manufacturing defects. Still, you have to position the suspension yourself, and only super glue or epoxy glue can be used to attach resin, metal and photo etch parts. Other than that, assembling process is pretty much the same as any plastic kit. You'll be impressed with machined aluminum wheels and silk screen decal. |
