Have had a continuing problem with metal brackets on the rear window glass that holds the top of the support strut to the window. Was missing the top connector to the window and was informed by the dealer that they are not sold, but come on a new window ( which was around $1100.00). So, I made one out of a bracket from a residential door closer. Tried every type of glue and cement and wound up using Marine Tex. It was working fine until the hinge brackets on the window finally came loose from the window and had to remove the struts due to their pressure was pushing the window up when closed, due to the movement from the hinge. Any suggestions before I tear apart the hinge brackets and attempt to glue them. For now I'm back using a stick for support.
