Forum operation question

When I go to areas with a red dot next to the subject, I have the option to view more posts than the 2 day default....that's great. But in forums with no red dot, I don't have the option to view older posts. What do I do if I want to view older stuff ?

I brought this up w/ Igor in an AIM conversation, and he didn't have a solution other than to just set your settings to show all posts instead of the last # days. Works for me.
