96 vs 98 power steering changes?
Guys
Should my 96 K1500 be noticably harder to steer than a 98? I drove a 98 the other day and was surprised at the difference. I need to know if my junk is broke or if GM changed somthing in the steering after 96 to make it easier. Thanks! |

Re: 96 vs 98 power steering changes?
My '98 K2500 Sub has the EVO system. It's just a system that restricts fluid out of the pump depending on speed. You can check if you have that by looking at the bottom back side of the power steering pump for wires and a connector.
