HI i have an option amongst the following
Honda S200 Mazda Rx8 BMW Z4 (3.0i) which one shall i go for, knowign that BMW doesn't boasts around 240 hp, like the S2000.But then agian, which one is fun to drive, with ample torque? Also, which one is easier to mod, just simple engine mods, no body mods. |

Re: which is better
z4, rx8, s2000
in that order. the beemer will be a drivers car with plenty of torque, the rx8 will have a good pull on the low end, the s2000 will lack power in the lower ranges, but once vtec kicks in at around 5000, it will get going.

Re: which is better
I agree with that order. A 2006 Z4 3.0i has 185 lb-ft of torque at 2750rpm (3.0si has 220 lb-ft at the same rpm), versus an '06 S2000 which only has 162 lb-ft at an insane 6800rpm. BMW Inline-6's are smooth, powerful and you don't have to drive it like you hate it to get decent power. We buy horsepower but drive torque.

Re: which is better
Z4, S2000, RX8
The RX8 is just too odd.

Re: which is better
Z4, S2000, RX-8 also..
RX-8's are beautiful cars but they've been known to have a lot of problems.. plus they don't make very good torque. They handle quite well, though. |

Re: which is better
Ok, I think that the S2000 would be the funnest car to drive, since anything past 5000rpm is pure music... but it's also a revver too, so you have to wind it out to get any speed. Then Z4 and RX-8. I like going against the grain.
