this may sound rediculis but I cant find my oil filter on my 95 buick.
it has the v6 but I tried looking for it for about 5 minutes before I found an oil leak I bought the car for 300 from a family member about a month ago could I get a little help.

Which 6 cyl, if 3.1 it is in the block side of the engine open the hood look down opposite from the radiator.

thanks I found the filter but it bust open when I used the filter wrench
I also found the leak the plug wasnt in all the way I also have a new Question does the car have a seal on the manifold one of my friends said you use silicone as a seal .this doesnt sound right what you?

What manifold, intake?, no there are updated intake gaskets and manifold bolts for that engine to correct chronic coolant leaks.
