Defroster wire broke off

The rear window defroster wire connector has come off the grid. Is there a way get it back on? Can you solder it or will that break the window?

You can solder it. Its just a pain. Bring something in the car you can set the soldering gun down on. One of those new cool heat/instant heat, instant cool solder guns would be nice in this situation.
