Arrow ...'92 headlight problem...

Hi, my car has the normal daytime running lights. With this, the lights on the back of the car don't work. That's fine.

But now, for some reason, theres the headlight icon to the left on your dash. It's shows green, but when you actually turn the knob to turn on your headlights, it should turn off.

Mine no longer does that. I turn it on, the lights turn on, brighter than the daytime running lights, but that light doesn't go off anymore. Now, the lights in the back don't work when it's running. Only time the brake lights light up is when I hit the brake.

Do you guys have any ideas as to what I can do to try and remedy this problem. Is it a wiring problem soemwhere or a fuse? Thanks

well on the 98's when that light stays on it means one of the exterior lights is bad, the way you worded that confused me, are you saying your tail lights dont work period??? if so, its possible they're both just burnt out

Yea, it's a little hard to desribe. The brake lights work when I hit the brakes. But when you actually turn on your headlights, they should be on all the time. Mine aren't. I highly doubt they'd both be burnt out. Any other suggestions
