Re: G6 Hardtop Convertible(PICS) Waiting List Opens!
Who in their crazy ass mind would pay over $30k for a convertable Grand Am? I just saw 2 of them in a dealership the other day. Granted, they were GT models (which is the only thing availible now) but still. It looked cheap, felt cheap, and ran slower than my Neon. Man, I'm a GM person but they're really hurting!

I agree i wouldnt pay $30,000 for one either.. After the excitement cools off you will be able to get on in the mid 20's.. Especially a new convertible like that, you know there will be problems with leaks etc.. They couldnt even come out with the fold back sunroof correctly without people having problems with wind noise, leaks, rattles and all that good stuff.

Re: G6 Hardtop Convertible(PICS) Waiting List Opens!
yeah I was thinking the same thing. I just can't believe the prices on these new cars. I'm not just talking about GM although they seem the worst ones. The same dealer has had 2 sweet looking Trailblazer SS's since last summer sitting on their lot. They were up into the mid $45k range and I just saw they're down to $35k.
Ford dealer has a nice Escape Hybrid that's been on the showroom floor for over 6 months as well. I know I live in one of the most depressed areas in Ohio but man! What I see doing alright is the ugly Dodge Caliber, base G6(under $17k), and Ford Fusion. Base trucks are doing fine too but that's mostly because I live in a farming area. I just hope that GM, Ford, and Dodge can get back on track. At least GM is doing excellent in the China markets. That way they can keep the Mexican economy going strong.
