I have a 95 Talon ESI 135000 miles. When turning left @ at least 20 mph, the car kind of wobbles like the wheel is going to fall off in the front. It's real unstable, almost like hitting a patch of ice. The mechanic says its the right control arm, but he wasn't 100% sure. Does anyone have any input as to what it might be? I can't afford to spend $200+ to fix the control arm and that not be the problem. THANKS!

Re: 95 Talon dangerous suspension problem? Need Help!
Have you jacked the car up and try to shake the wheel? You need to do that if you have not done it, Shake the wheel side to side and up and down to see if there is any play.

Re: 95 Talon dangerous suspension problem? Need Help!
I have jacked it up and there is absolutly no play in the wheel. It's tight as can be. The control arm however does have slight movement in it when you shake it. It drives great most of the time (no pull, no shaking, no vibrating). It just gets real unstable when turning left. From what I understand, there was a recall in 1999 on these control arms? Any more ideas? Thanks for the help.

Re: 95 Talon dangerous suspension problem? Need Help!
There was a recall. Take it to the dealership (Jeep, Mitshu, Chyrsler...) and have them do the recall. It's free, and doesn't take mush time. If the problem is still there, they'll tell you about it and what it is. Then go from there.
