Dorr lock

hi everyone

my 97 rav 4 driver side door lock is busted...could someone give me some hint tips, or ideas. do i have to take of the inside door panel off? it kinda feels like a spring is out of place or something like that...i need all the help please and thank u

Yes, you will have to take the door panel off to gain access to the locking mechanism. You'll will be able to visually inspect and try the locking mechanism to determine what is wrong.
If in doubt, remove the other door's panel for reference.

yes do that or call your A dealer, usualy one thats closest to you and order a new door lock, basicaly the same thing happend to my Mits Mirage and they got the part in about 3 days and it was only about 60$
