out of money whats wrong with tranny?

finally have completed my gsr swap in 91 hatch
now vehicle will not rev. past 3500 rpm
thats not my problem
when trying to engage clutch it grinds really bad
shift into gear and nothing????????
clucth doesnt grind when releasing
axles not spinning
tranny fluid is new
axles were seated properly and now i guess im going to have to drop the tranny
what the hell do i do
some one please help

It won't rev past 3500, probably because your ECU is in hobble home mode. a sensor or the wiring for it is fubarred probably.

As far as the tranny, my guess is it's focked. Hard to diagnose something like that, having never seen the car, tho.

That shouldn't cause the axles to not move when he's in gear. I believe a bad throw-out bearing grinds whenever you disengage the clutch.

i didnt know the car went into gear, i guess i read the original post wrong

as for the throw-out bearing, it makes a noise when engaging also

alrite guys heres what i got
tranny is out of car
i put the pass side axle in the pass side of the tranny and put the half shaft in the drivers side
(now remember tranny is out of car sitting on ground)
when engaging the tranny into any gear
i can spin the half shaft and the pass side axle will spin oposite way
(as expected)
but heres the catch
i can have someone spin the input shaft and if i grab ahold of the pass side axle i can grab it and prevent it from spinning
is that normal
It really feels as if the axle isnt seating properly
they are b series axles for sure!
this is a ys1 tranny out of 1.7gsr
i believe there is no lsd

i have over 10 grand invested into the build of this motor and car and now after install i just keep running into problem after problem

i did how ever find that i may have launch control on my computer after it was programmed and chipped so as for the car reving out at 3500
i may have that problem solved, I HOPE!
so i guess i wont know if this is true or not untill my first test run
no codes, no check engine light so im very puzzled

clutch cable too long????
is it possible???
i made custome plate to hold and secure clutch cable so as for proper allignment with clucth cable thats out of the question
how can u tell if the throw out bearing is shot
i know my wiring is done correctly, (THANK YOU TO RYAN AT RYWIRE)

dude a throw out bearing makes what kind of noise
im talking like serious grind almost as if ur smashed gears at an idle with no clutch
i also heard when tranny was still in car and very high pitched wining noise
almost like a super charged wine??
any ideas

simple fix go to the junk yard and get another tranny for like 100bucks and thro it in there if you have 10g in it another 100 bucks aint nothing
