pulley(s)

hey guys, just wondering about some pulleys for my 98 talon non turbo, was wondering if i should go with just a crank pulley or should i buy the whole set, with like alt, ps, etc... and if i just went with the crank pulley would that require a new belt or is there an application that doesnt require a new belt? also can anyone recommend a brand and where to purchase it, i live in a smaller city in ontario so theres not really any performance shops up here...any help would be greatly apreciated

Re: pulley(s)

Go with just the crank. The others are ok, but not needed. You will need new belts. Brands? I've got an ebay one... alot of people won't go for those... mine works fine. I love it.

The crank pulley will give you good power. It's one of the best, cheapest mods that you can do for the N/T.

Re: pulley(s)

Nope. Make sure you get a N/T pulley. They are totally different. There's tons of them on there around the same price.

Re: pulley(s)

Take a piece of string and wrap it around all the pulleys nice and tight. Then, measure how long the string is and take that to autozone or your local autoparts store. Theyll match a belt up easily.

Re: pulley(s)

They are just a well respected brand and I bet they put the most R&D into each of their products. I would definately go with one of those.

I read an article in some car magazine, their RX8 got something crazy like 10 hp and 13 ft/lbs of torque just from the crank pulley.
