Thumbs up keyless remote programming

Hey Chuckster,

I just reprogrammed my 2000 gt with a remote i bought off of e-bay using the same method as a 97 and up grand prix. If you want to try it, here are the instructions:

1. sit in car and close all doors.

2. remove the "mall PGM" fuse from the panel hidden in the right of the glovebox.

3. insert key into ignition and turn back to accessory.

4. turn ignition to off and back again to accessory within 1 second.

5. open and close any door and you will hear a chime when program mode is started.

6. press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on your remote for 14 seconds.

7. after 7 seconds, a chime should be heard, and then after 14 seconds, another chime should be heard.

8. repeat step 6 for each remote.

9. remove key from ignition and re-install the "mall PGM" fuse.

10. try remotes to verify program has worked.

It only took me about 2 minutes to do this so good luck.

Regards, Kerry:frog:
