Seat Belt Light

The Seatbelt light in my 2000 Chevy Venture has come on and will not go off, stays on even after you are out of vehicle. Anyone know what the problem could be? Please e-mail if you know what the problem is.. [email protected] Thanks!

Does it stay on even when the ignition is OFF and the key is removed?

If so, I would say its a short in the wiring or instrument panel.

Take Care,
