96 Sunfire Difficult To Start in Rain
1996 Sunfire
2.2L Automatic 4DR Well, I've been dealing with this problem for a long time now and figured I'd put it out there to get some help from someone who may have found a solution. My 96 Sunfire is extremely difficult to start each and every time it rains. I am usuallly able to get it started after 3 to 5 minutes over continously trying and giving it gas. However, sometimes I can't get it started and totally drain the battery. At that point, I am able to start it after giving it a boost from another car. The car does not have any problems starting in any other conditions include snowy conditions or extreme cold. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Re: 96 Sunfire Difficult To Start in Rain
plug wires likely old going bad . If they are old change them . probably wouldn`t hurt to change plugs also, but the plug wires will definately cause these symptoms
