96 Sunfire Difficult To Start in Rain

1996 Sunfire
2.2L Automatic
4DR

Well, I've been dealing with this problem for a long time now and figured I'd put it out there to get some help from someone who may have found a solution. My 96 Sunfire is extremely difficult to start each and every time it rains. I am usuallly able to get it started after 3 to 5 minutes over continously trying and giving it gas. However, sometimes I can't get it started and totally drain the battery. At that point, I am able to start it after giving it a boost from another car. The car does not have any problems starting in any other conditions include snowy conditions or extreme cold.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

plug wires likely old going bad . If they are old change them . probably wouldn`t hurt to change plugs also, but the plug wires will definately cause these symptoms
