tweaked power chip

Has anybody used the power chip from Tweaked motorsports? They claim 20% INCREASE AND ONLY COSTS $25. sOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, BUT you never know. Let me know if you know anything about them.

Re: tweaked power chip

I haven't heard anything about them. But I have heard the old adage, "Anything that sounds too good to be true, probably is". Watch yourself on this one is my gut feeling.

Re: tweaked power chip

It is too good to be true. This is a resistor that changes the value of the signal sent to your chip. It tells your chip that the air temperature is cooler than it really is so it gives your motor more gas. If you look around on the web you can find out what resistor you need and buy it from Radio Shack for about $1.75.

thanks guys, this link helped. Not anything I want to try. Where I live the air temp is cool 9months out of the year anyway, it wouldn't help me much. Thanks for the input.
