Re: help... sub cuts out
Did you check for any shorts in your wiring yet?? Check the resistence of your subs, if this is within your amps operating range for resistance check that you have good ground. If all that looks good you may have a bad amp.
Good Luck! Matt |

Re: help... sub cuts out
Well considering that the PG Ti series subs are all single 4 ohm i highly doubt its a wiring issue. Good ground wouldnt make it go into protect unless its a non existent ground. Sounds like a wiring issue as far as the sub is concerned. Either this or the amp has a bad power connection. Check the sub wires for frayed ends at the amp or sub and check the power wire to make sure its not loose. Also what gauge wire are you running at least 4 gauge would be advisable. And last possibility the amp or sub could have a problem. Try another amp, or try another sub on the amp to see which it could be.

Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota. Cardomain |
