Transmission Problem 1997 S-10

Hi, I am writting because I really need help. We just rebuilt the tranmission and it keeps overheating they told us that we needed to upgrade the selinoid they did that and it is still not shifting right in first gear .Please help we don't know what to do now. Annej

It seems that shop incorrectly assessed what needed to be done. Maybe try going back with a male, incase it a place that takes advantage of females. I'd ask for the manager and explain since the problem still is not fixed, you'd appreciate them actually fixing it and giving you a susbstantial discount on the next bill.

I might get opinion on this first from other shop, having a male with you each time.

What problems are you experiencing? Is the Check Engine light on? If so, what codes are you getting?
