96 monte carlotrans

i have to shake the whole car to get the transmission to change gears
please help me.

You probably have a sticking shift solenoid. You can try a filter change and add some Seafoam or Trans-X additive to see if it helps. If the fluid is dark brown or smells burnt, you're looking at a possible trans replacement. Whatever you do, DO NOT do a trans flush/fluid exchange. There are multiple posts regarding this issue on the Grand Prix forums (the Lumina's sister car). If the fluid is so bad you NEED a flush, your trans is already toast.

fuel pump shut off swith

does anyone know where can i locate the fuel reset switch
