Trunk Light Question

My light on my trunk went out and instead of replacing it I was thinkin of putting a small neon tube instead using the same wiring... any idea how I can rig somethin???
Or will I have to hook it up to another source....

Re: Trunk Light Question

Well if it is an accessory neon from autozone or somewhere and it has the transformer built in then you should be able to cut the old trunk bulb socket off and use them wires to hook it up. Then you have to mount the light, I guess you could tie wrap it to the deck lid. I would have to pop my trunk for any other suggestions on mounting it. If you have a sub box you could mount it to that. Or if you put in a rear strut brace you could mount it there too. Any way I need to get into my trunk to do some work I will see if I can come up with alternate mounting suggestions.
