Have you had the windshield replaced lately?

Re: leaks

I sit inside and watch for leaks when it rains hard. That's the best way to find out where they're coming from.

Or get someone to shoot the truck with hose while you stay in and watch.

Re: leaks

If you only see water on the floor, chances are the windshield is leaking and running down behind the dash.

Re: leaks

another thing to check is the drain for the AC. the tube is supposed to go through the fire wall, but ocasionally it will pop back inside the cab. and sense the AC cycles on and off when the defrost setting is selected, you can still get condensation even without having the AC turned on to blow cold air. also, even if the drain tube is still sticking through the fire wall like it's supposed to be, make sure that it isn't plugged, if it's plugged, the condensation will just pool in the blower housing, and leak out inside the cab.

but as mentioned above, sit in it wile it's raining, or have someone spray it with a hose to make sure that it's not the windshield that's leaking.

Re: leaks

if that doesn't work I had my rear window leak water onto my floor. I could not see it but took it to my dealer and told them to find it. They ripped up the carpet and soaked everythign down and they found out it was my rear slider leaking. Aparently it is common for the sliders to leak. Also I have heard of the third brake light leaking and ending up inside the cab.

Put a one-piece window in.

Re: leaks

replace with a non factory rear slider. The problem with mine was when the tywo slide togetehr to close it wasn't sealing so they replaced the whole thing with a single rear slider. It took some getting used to having it slide only one way but it works and doesn't leak and was free to me b/c it leaked when I bought it.

Re: leaks

My rear slider leaks also but not through the sliding part it leaks through the seal along the top and only while driving. It has done so since it was new, I even had it replaced and it still does it, it has something to do with the design. I would have replaced it with an aftermarket window but they look like crap and the leak isn't bad enough to cause any damage.

Re: leaks

well if its coming in near the top of the slider maybe its your third brake light leaking and appearing that its coming in the slider top. The easy way to check that is to pull the third brake light and silicon it when you put it back in. That seals it abck up and then if it stops leaking viola it might have not been the window. B/c if it is the brake light it would run down and then hit the slider then run inside and appear as though its the slider. If its the slider most likely it'll run in near the bottom.
