Hasegawa Lancer Evo V Wheel Question
Hi,
Just a quick question regarding the Hasegawa Evo V road version for anyone who has built the kit.Is it just me or do the wheels seem a touch on the small side. They don't seem to fill the arches at all,the front ones in particular. The gap seems enormous.Has anybody else noticed this? The Hasegawa Evo VI I built seems fine though.I noticed that Fujimi make a couple of Evo V's are the wheels in these kits any better for size? |

Re: Hasegawa Lancer Evo V Wheel Question
I do not have the Hasegawa Evo 5, but the wheels of the Evo 3 and 4 are small. Fujimi's wheels are unfortunately small with a lot of rubber. Best bet is to get some aftermarket wheels.

Re: Hasegawa Lancer Evo V Wheel Question
Keep in mind wheel and tire sizes don't translate well into models. They may scale out properly, and the wheel gap may be right, but they look funny. Just take a look at the Ferraris in the sig in the previous post - those wheels would look awfully small and we'd all complain about the rideheight if those were models.
