good race

ok this is the 3rd time i posted this, but the firts 2 didnt work when i submitted them...so here we go again..... friday when i was on my way over sum chicks house i rolled up on a great sounding t/a on a off road by the airport. i was telling the guy his car sounded really good when he freaking hit the gas on me.. well hell i must have seen the look in his eye because he only got about a 1 second hit on me because i went for it as well. i stayed right next to him for a good while, it was almost like slow motion because neither of us was pulling on the other till i hit my last gear. it seems my car was shifting alot faster than his so in 4th i got to about the nose of his car. this was really one that i would have loved to have recorded i bet the people behind us had a good show. well at around 130 i started shutting her down . when we got to the light he asked me if i wanted to hid up on the vets tollway so we could rematch it and i followed him up to it, but when it was pay time i 4got i didnt have any cash on me....smh. so it took me like 3 minutes to count out the little bit of change i had in the ash tray which included 30 pennies so by the time i got on the vets the guy was long gone. it was sad because i wanted to try an go from a dig, it was so butt empty out there at that time. so i missed out on the re-match, but i got him thats all that counted in the end.

Re: good race

u know what, i really dont know. it was a drop top but im thinking lt1 but it could have just as well been a ls1. i cant really tell the difference on the trans am models, its easy for the camaro u just look for light covers or 4 square lights lol. it had a lt1 sound though, so im leaning more to the lt1 side.

Re: good race

An easy way to tell is the back lights, if they are straight lined then they are Lt1, if they are honeycombed, then they are Ls1.. also the front of the Ls1 models are more.. rounded if you will compared to the Lt1 models because those are sharper in the front.

Re: good race

Yeah, the backlights are easiest way to tell, just look at the black lines, if they are lines anyway, or honeycombs.

Re: good race

98BlackTransAm has the LS1, the front ends are rounder and more aggresive, I just have the LT1 and the "sharper" front end
