Ok, this is just annoying...

Ok, this is my first convertible. This top is just making me so annoyed. So I purchased 303 top cleaner and the protector. I cleaned the top with dish soap, cleaned with water, then scrubed with 303 cleaner, washed off with water again. Let dry...this took forever! Then sprayed the "beader" protector on. I used the whole fricken bottle of the stuff!!!! Is that right?! Now I have to wait 24 hours for the top to dry completely. And yes I did read the directions before applying....like 5 million times so I didnt mess anything up! Can anyone point me in the right direction, because I LOVE my new Miata....But this top thing is really getting to me. Thanks!
