New headlights

My brother has a 03 eclipse GT and he bought some new hailo projector headlights for his car and i put them in but there is that wire that just plugs in but then there is another two wires, they are black and white. The headlights work but i was wondering what do they go to or do? The lights don't look as blue as they should, do they power blue lights or something?

Re: New headlights

those other wires are for the Halo's. Wire them to your parking lights. The lights probably dont look as blue as they did in the original picture because they probably photo shopped it to look better. Buy some different bulbs, or better yet convert to true HID. There is plenty of info on this forum to help you with that. If youve got some other questions about wireing in the HALO's drop me a line.

Re: New headlights

ok so on the drivers side there is three wires on the parking lights a green a pink and black. i know the black was ground so i wired that to the halo ground and the pink was positive so i wired that. But on the pasenger side parking light there was two green and one black. So i know black was ground but i did not know which one was positive. so i just gesed and spliced the one green and put it all to gether and they halo's worked when the parking lights were on and all the blinkers worked but when i turned the parking lights on the dash mph lights would not come on but they flashed when i turned the right blinker on. I need help fast because i have to get this car fixed today, so if any one knows any thing about this PLEASE let me know. Thanx alot.

Re: New headlights

well, if they flahsed when you turned your right blinker on, then it must be that you wired your right HALO into your turn signal instead of your parkin light wire. Easy mistake, and hopefully and easy fix. Just change the wire to the other green one, and hopefully that will fix it.
