Interpreting Message Centre

I have a 2002 Impala 3.8L and there is an oil can with a wrench at the bottom in the message centre. Does this mean I need to change the oil or am I having a problem with my oil system? Sorry, I don't have an owner's manual and I am all new to the GM car........

Re: Interpreting Message Centre

You must live in Canada, or at least your car was originally put into service in Canada.

And yes that means you have to chagne your oil, after you do, dont forget to reset the oil life monitor. here is a PDF file of a manual for your car. Just save it for later use.

Re: Interpreting Message Centre

I tried going to their home page and navigating to this link, tried downloading it from this link, and tried to get the 2003 manual (which is what I really want, anyway), and nothing works. I don't know why, but I am just unable to get either of these manuals to download for me. Has anyone else gotten them to work?

Re: Interpreting Message Centre

Hi Guys,

I was able to download the manual via the link bigrod posted. Do you have adobe v6 or v7? Because I tried downloading using v6 and it didn't work, however it downloaded fine when I used v7.....

Re: Interpreting Message Centre

hmm, yeah I do have adobe 7, but I dont think that should actually matter.

But I did go to see which ones were working, and even I couldnt open all of them, so I re-uploaded them and they all work now.

FIXED.
