2001 WB - Remove overhead entertainment console

How do you remove the overhead entertainment console. I removed the four screws under the flip down screen, now what?

Re: 2001 WB - Remove overhead entertainment console

Carefully pry down the drivers side of the lens for the lights, and you'll find 2 more screws. Look closely, but I think the lens sort of "hinges" down with the "hinge" on the passenger's side. The overhead console should then drop down and stay on sort of a "post". You can then pull the connectors off and then pull it off the "post".

Would you mind doing me a favor? My 2003 Montana does not have the center speaker, but I think yours does. I'm trying to figure out where the speaker plugs into the circuit board, and I think it is a small two pin connector about in the middle, and a little closer to the screen side versus the lights side. I'd like to find and install the center speaker.

Can you see where the wire goes? I've looked at mine, and all I see is a small white two pin connector on that board (under the thin black cover.

If you can't tell, don't worry about it, but if you can see it, I'd appreciate it....Thanks, Glen
