Lumina 95-01 Ash Tray? Looking 2 Buy

I need a new one, my @$$hole friend broke mine and I'm not trying to make him pay $75 from the dealer. I found one for $50 but still, for an ashtray thats expensive. If anyone has one for sale or knows a parts store carring thing for cheap please post. Thanks.

What color is your interior?

I gotta go to the salvage yard this weekend, I'll look. I bought on there a couple of years ago, wanted one to drill for a CB radio mount. I think I paid $4 for it.

I don't actually have one to sell you, I bought the one so I didn't have to butcher my orignal one to mount the radio....my interior is blue and the one I bought is maroon (doesn't matter, it's down so low and the radio covers it anyway...)

But I will look when I go scrounging there Saturday, if I find one cheap like that you can just pay me back for the cost and the postage if you want. Was there just one level of grey in the Luminas? I don't remember, but there is one grey that's real common, I assume that's it.

most likely would be, i have the average one. i believe its only one level too. just one long black plastic strip that you slide onto the medal row. I have a 1997 Lumina if its any help. No LS or LTZ, but I'm gettin one this summer .

(cool shades) ----> 8-) haha

OK

Yeah that plastic rail is a crappy design, the Lumina's ashtray is the hardest one to get in right of any car I've ever had. What, did your friend grab it and try to pull down on it? That's usually what people try to do, rather than pull out like a drawer.

I went over there yesterday afternoon and the only late model Lumina I could find was at the top of a five-car stack, and I wasn't gonna chance it for an ashtray

You try Ebay?
