94RS Instrument Cluster config question?

Hi All,

Recently I tried to install an instrument cluster off a 93 Z-24 and put it on my 94 RS 2.2. The oil pressure, water temp, and fuel gauge worked. The tach, nor the speedo worked ( i bought this cluster for the tach). On my original cluster I have water temp, oil pressure, speedo and fuel. Is there any way possible that I can make this new cluster work? Am I missing something? I have heard that the clusters on the 91-94s are interchangable. I have also heard that the tach should work the only problem that i might run into was an inacurate reading. (cause of the 3.1 versus 2.2) And a resistor could fix that. Anyway does anyone know the pin out of the 28 pin connector that plugs into the cluster? Does a lead for a tach go into that connector? What color lead would it be? If I cant make that work would I be able to buy an aftermarket tach (sun) and make that work? What would I have to do to make that work? I know that I am asking alot of questions but if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated... Thanks Tom
