Help with oil dipstick tube...........

HEy Has anyone ever ran into this problem with a early chevy 350 small block engine..... the problem is all the regular dipsticks they make will not fit because of my exhaust manifold is blocking it from coming out..... The Dipstick goes in right near the Heads not on the bottom of the block like some othe small blocks...... i was wondering if anyone noes of a solution thanks alot

Re: Help with oil dipstick tube...........

You should be able to swap it between left and right side.... I don't know if that helps any though. Otherwise maybe upgrade to headers? That's about all I can say.

Bend it with a vice or something....I had to bend mine to get it in just right. And I agree, much easier with headers.
