Replace 1999 Suburban fuel pump

Anyone with experience dropping the fuel tank to gain access to the fuel pump?

I don't see how to easily disconnect the fuel intake attached to the fuel take. It seems to be inaccessible, yet it needs to be removed first so that tank can be dropped.

What do you recommend?

Re: Replace 1999 Suburban fuel pump

I've done mine, use a floor jack to help support the tank, you need a special tool to diconnect the fuel supply line and return available at auto stores, not very expensive.
