Heatshields!

I fitted a K and N cone filter to my E36 compact (1997) a while back, however at the time I wasn't advised on fitting a heatshield at the same time.

I have since realised that to get the most out of the cone filter I need a heatshield.

I have several problems with this:

1 - I am in the UK
2 - The only heatshields I have seen have been bundled with CAI's.

Any info on suppliers of heatshields, any home made efforts or any instructions would be greatly appreciated.
