Finally I got all on right place!
Right color rate, thinner rate, hardener rate and new nozzle.

I used automotive color which I thinned with automitive thinner and add hardener ot it.
I never think on ratio, I mixed it until I get nice result.

Did you just spray it through you "normal" arbrush? I am having some reservations aboutdoing so because I'm afraid all this stuff will harden and spoil the airbrush (as I understand, it hardens really ... hard

) Just guide us through.

I still have some reservations about using automotive colors, at least the metallic colors. Is there any paint that would have on-scale metal flakes? It seems that even Tamiya's paints have way too big flakes.

Yes, its done with normal airbrush.
After painting I always clean it with aumotive thinner so there no fear of hardening.

Yes, but you must to find and try it.
I spoke with people who use auto colors regulary and it can be done.
I tried one metalic color on my Pug 206 but grits are little big, but it's done only for interior of car so there is problem.
But for 01 version I will try to find better color.

Mikke - Arts and Craft stores sell metal flake in jars that you can mix up.

hrmodeler - Automotive paint, did you get it from a spraybrush or somewhere else? What is 'hardenerer'?

I bought it in auto paint shop.
Hardener is liquid which goes in auto colors and clear coats and give them hard finish and helps them to dry fast.

Another plus is that you don't have to buy a lot of it (as in 400ml cans) - just as much or little as you need. Maybe I'll try it some day.

As an automotive painter by trade I can assure you that you can use automotive paints thru an airbrush.All 3 of the cars I showed in my thread were painted using these paints.As long as you get your airbrush cleaned up by the time the paints "potlife" is gone you'll be fine.That's usually around 4 hours depending on things like temp and humidity.It's true too that the metallic content can look large on a model.What looks fine and "in-scale" on a 1:1 car can look like metal flake on a scale model so you just have to choose your colors carefully.
The main thing that will probably stop the average modeler from going this route is the cost. Automotive colors,clears,reducers and activators can be extremely expensive. You might think "I only need an oz. or two" but most if not all places that mix these colors can only mix pints as the smallest quantity.That's the smallest their formulas will allow. The only reason that I'm able to do it is because I have ready access to an almost endless supply of colors and supplies.All I can suggest is get to know someone in the industry if this is the way that you want to go(unless you're rich of course...lol).
