4.3L V6 Conversion

I have a 1977 MGB Roadster Convertible and a 1991 Chevy S-10 Blazer.

My goal is to take the perfectly good engine out of the blazer and put it in the MGB.

My question: Is there anything I should look out for when doing an engine swap? I'm allready looking into the size differential and any necesary engine compartment mods. But what do I need to know about compatability with other componenets? do I need to replace the trasmission as well? Thanks in advance all.
