Camshaft installation

I have a comp magnum 280h cam part #12-212-2.

Gross valve lift 0.48
Duration at 0.006 tappet lift 280
Valve timing at 0.006
Intake open 34 close 66
Exhaust open 74 close 26

I had this cam in my car last year it did fine, i spun a bearing and had to take the motor apart and now i'm back to putting the cam back in and i don't remember how the gear goes back in. Is it at 0, +4, or -4 ???..... And if it's + or - will the # 1 piston be at TDC? I put it on zero and lined it up dot to dot and it was bending pushrods.
PLEASE HELP!

If you had the crank dot at 12:00 and the cam dot at either 6:00 or 12:00 using the " 0 " and it was bending pushrods then there was something else wrong. That cam most likely has 4* advance ground into it so the " 0 " should be correct. The Piston will be at TDC no matter what gear posistion you choose.

Do you have a degree wheel and know how to degree a cam in ?

What is the lobe seperation and the recomended ICL ?

Re: Camshaft installation

You can either trust that Comp manufactured the cam correctly (99.999% of the time, they do) or do this:
