I recently bought a 92 Honda civic Hatch DX 5spd. It has a d15b7 original engine - Except someone put a 90-91 Civic Si head on it - (they say nothing else was changed) It does have a cold air intake, a 4 into 1 header and a cat-back exhaust. No ECU changes and no intake changes. - IT SMOKES - (the harder you get into it the worse it smokes) I put in the local import performance shop- that says compression checks out great, and every other test they have ran has checked out Great. They say it has to be getting to much gas? But have yet to figure it out - they are still guessing and are wanting to start replacing parts that they dont even know if it will fix it... ANYBODY HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE ON THE HEAD SWAP THING? |

What ecu are you using? Dx, si or ex? And what of the vtec oil lines? Please get back to me cause i plan on doing the same swap into my hatch.
