how reliable are 240sx's?

especially 89-94 ...?

I own a '90 240sx and I havn't had ap roblem with it in the 2 years I've owned it. I love this car. Hope that helps you out.

I don't own one, but I would imagine they would be pretty reliable... they are a Nissan after all :P

The S13 (89-94) is very reliable. Cant say the same for th S14 tho.

S14's are quite reliable as well...in the 6 years I had my 240SX...I got w/38k miles...and it left me around 80 some thousand miles...never had one problem!!!

well my car is not giving me any real problems. its only got problems cause i'm being an ass to it. but i'm goin to get her all fixed up. most of her problems are little bullshit problems anyways. ntohign for me to be worried about.

I guess it all comes down to how you take care of your car, thrash on it w/o fixing it ever and it wont last... treat it nice and it will treat you nice...

My '96 is falling apart. It still runs as strong as ever, but the materials used to build the car are poor quality.

[ranting]
The paint on the spoiler is bubbling
The plastic covering in my wheel wells is loose.
The plastic parts in the front bumper are coming off.
The plastic parts that hold my liscense plate rotted off.
The lining of my trunk has becoming completely separated from the trunk walls (exposing wiring and a few holes that go straight thru the body)
The interior plastic is cracking, the air vents especially.
