Anyway, no im not illegal, but c'mon its the country that my family came from, and yes I do sympathize for them because not all illegals are bad and taking advantage of the system.

Also to clear up anything, my mom, one of my aunts and ofcourse my grandparents came legally, the rest of us were born here and thats it.. No swimming the rio grande for us.

Just put up signs in very simple Spanish and English that if someone is seen crossing the border and is not at a border crossing point, they will be shot. Not given a meal and water then sent home to try again (it's like freakin' kids with a "do-over" for crying out loud).

Other information on the signs would be how to make contact to enter the country legally.

Rally I'm not telling all Mexicans to go fuck themselves. The ones that entered legally, like your family, I have no problem with. As stated, the illegals are the ones that piss me off and Mexico isn't doing much to help either.

...because the rest of us Americans don't share those feelings and we don't want them here. We want our tax dollars to be used to take care of AMERICANS (whether you are a naturalized (legal) American or born American, you are still American). We don't want leeches. Yes not all of them are taking advantage of our system but the vast majority are...and by allowing the good ones in we are also clearing the way for the bad ones to come in. Those that come here illegally are typically under-educated, and when they can't find work they turn to crime...

With Mexican President Vicente Fox at his side, President Bush gave Congress a long-distance push Thursday to open the United States to immigrant workers who have been sneaking across the borders to fill low-paying jobs.

"We don't want people sneaking into our country that are going to do jobs that Americans won't do," Bush said at the end of a private meeting with Fox, where the issue was on top of the agenda. "We want them coming in in an orderly way, which will take pressure off both our borders."

Bush is pushing for a guest worker program that would let foreigners in low-paying jobs stay temporarily, which Fox says is a good first step toward some form of legal status for all Mexican illegal immigrants.

Bush added, "I'm optimistic that we can get a bill done."
