1995 GP GT Steering Column Access/Removal
Hello web bloggers!
My GP has suffered an electrical short and my directionals no longer work, not a fuse, etc. I can smell/see smoke from the steering column, but i can't get in there. This column is a tilt and completely round, no screws or plastic snap ons that I can see. Also, four-ways hazzard lights still work. Thanks in advance for your replys! CN |

Re: 1995 GP GT Steering Column Access/Removal
your turn signal/multifunction switch is going bad. There are two different ones, depending on whether you have steering wheel audio controls or not. Replacement is a little frustrating, but not difficult. If you're uncomfortable working around air bags, you may want to have the work professionally done. the air bag and steering wheel must come off to replace the offending assembly.
