Thumbs down automatic memory seat adjusters

I just purchased a 2002 Maxima SE. They come with the automatic seat adjusters with memory. Sometimes the seat will move back when exiting and sometimes it doesn't. Also, they memory buttons do not work half the time either. To get them to work, I have to put the ignition on the on position, move the automatic from park and back to park and then hit the memory switch. Heck, I could adjust the seat quicker myself!

Has anyone else had any sporadic problems with either the automatic seat adjuster or the memory function?

It works great when it funcitons as intended. I am goign to take it in under warranty.
